learning and growing together
being our best forever
I had the privilege of experiencing ‘The Cadoxton Way’ yesterday by attending the school’s ‘This is Us’ open day.
As a school governor and researcher of the Foundation Phase, I had seen several presentations that featured Cadoxton Primary School and was familiar with its ‘pioneering status’ and association with good practice. However, yesterday’s open day illustrated the school’s innovation and success in full technicolour, illuminating what pioneering practice can look like on the ground.

Firstly I wanted to thank you for allowing us to visit your school on Tuesday. WAW!! It certainly has the waw factor and I’m hugely impressed with what you’ve achieved and the vision for going forward. Huge congratulations to you. I was a bit daunted arriving home having thought about everything that I saw, simply because I like things to happen overnight!! But having had time to reflect with my two Assistant Heads this morning you have helped to provide a baseline for our way forward and the future is very exciting. There were things that wouldn’t work for us, but certainly lots of things that would. We don’t intend to clone everything!
But sincerely, thank you and congratulations to you as staff and to the pupils, whom I was hugely impressed with their professionalism at the café and around the school.
